A LITTLE ABOUT ME
My name is Jacob Guaydacan, I am 24 years old and I have lived in the Coachella Valley, CA all my life (if you know what Coachella fest is, that is literally in my backyard). I am attending Academy of Art University in San Francisco to get my BFA in Audio Engineering and Sound Design. Within my experience at this school, I want to expand my knowledge of music and make connections with artists, producers, and musicians from all over the world that will last me a lifetime and help push my career forward.
I first found my love for music when I was 8 years old. The first instrument I learned was the saxophone and just from playing, I was fortunate enough to have opportunities that let me travel across the country and record in top-notch, professional studios. Places I have played at include Walt Disney World, Disneyland/California Adventure, Monterey Jazz Festival, Next Generation Jazz Festival, and different venues in Vegas, Portland, Nashville, Hollywood and Orlando. I have recorded in studios such as Conway, Fantasy, Skywalker Ranch and The Palms in Vegas. I have traveled with bands and music groups since I was 11 years old.
I have been producing music and enlightening myself on audio engineering since December of 2016 but I have found a very strong love for it and wanted to make it a life-long career and journey. I love to teach myself something new every day and stay as consistent as possible when it comes to producing. I have an experience in making instrumentals for hip-hop, trap, EDM and R&B as well as composing music for film. I also am able to make custom beats/compositions in all of these genres as well!
